Globe and Mail nominated for top digital journalism award

The Globe and Mail is a finalist in multiple categories in the 2020 Online Journalism Awards, including the General Excellence Large Newsroom category. Finalists in this category, with The Globe, are The Washington Post and South China Morning Post.
The other Globe nominations are:
Technical Innovation in the Service of Digital Journalism: Sophi Automation
Sports: The Long Road Back, Grant Robertson and David Goldman
Established in 2000, the OJAs honour excellence in digital journalism around the world from outlets such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Guardian. A full list of nominees is available online. Winners will be announced at a virtual awards ceremony in October.
