Report on business magazine announces best executive awards 2023

TORONTO (March 9, 2023)

Report on Business magazine is pleased to announce the winners of its fourth annual Best Executive Awards. This program celebrates non-CEO leaders at the SVP, EVP and C-suite (or equivalent) levels who are making an exceptional impact on their business and showing outstanding leadership skills.

The 2023 winners represent the best of Canadian leadership in five functional areas: Finance; Human Resources; Operations; Sales and Marketing; and Technology.

“The Best Executive Awards are meant to showcase non-CEO leaders who go above and beyond for their organizations,” says Dawn Calleja, editor, Report on Business magazine. “Whether their accomplishments are personal or professional or, more commonly, a bit of both, they have lots to teach us about how to be better leaders and role models for all of corporate Canada.”

Winning executives were chosen after a call for nominations for Canadian leaders at public and private businesses, not-for-profits, associations, and academic institutions as well as nominations from the Report on Business newsroom. Nominations were assessed by the Report on Business editorial team based on career background, leadership style, achievements, and impact.

Winners will be featured in the May 2023 issue of Report on Business magazine, digitally on April 19 and in print on April 29. Winners will also be invited to share their experiences and insight at the Best Executive Summit on May 3.
