The Globe and Mail launches Canada’s Top Growing Companies competition

March 25, 2019

The Globe and Mail today launched Canada’s Top Growing Companies, a competitive ranking of the country’s best and brightest growth businesses based on three-year revenue growth.

“Entrepreneurial companies are the big job creators and innovators of the Canadian economy,” says Derek DeCloet, Executive Editor of The Globe and Mail and Editor of Report on Business. “This new Report on Business program will highlight bold and ambitious companies in all industries across the country – companies that business leaders should be watching closely.”

Winning companies will receive valuable editorial coverage from Canada’s most reputable business source when announced in the October issue of Report on Business magazine and online at ReportonBusiness.com. Winners will also receive use of the Canada’s Top Growing Companies seal, invitations to exclusive events, opportunities to connect with other growth-oriented entrepreneurs, and more.

Quebec-based winners will also be profiled editorially by our French-language media partner, L’actualité.

To be eligible to compete, companies must be independent, for-profit, under Canadian ownership and headquartered in Canada with significant operations in Canada. Companies must also meet minimum operating revenues of $2 million in its most recent fiscal year to qualify.

There is no cost for companies to participate and the deadline to enter the competition is May 31, 2019. More information about the competition itself is available at tgam.ca/topgrowing.
