Top columnist returns to The Globe
Andrew Coyne’s first column to appear Dec. 7

The Globe and Mail is pleased to announce that Andrew Coyne has joined its Opinion desk. His first column will appear Dec. 7.
A household name to Canadians, Coyne has written previously for Maclean’s and The Globe and Mail, while contributing to a wide range of other publications in Canada and abroad, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, National Review, Saturday Night, and The Walrus.
The winner of two National Newspaper Awards and the Hyman Solomon Award for Excellence in Public Policy Journalism, he most recently worked at the National Post. He is also a weekly panellist on CBC’s The National.
